We stayed at the excellent Botanic View B&B near the Botanical Gardens for our last night in Dublin, so we were able to walk around the beautiful gardens. We saw a heron and a place where Wittgenstein used to hang out in the winter of 1946.
Later we had dinner at the Brian Boru pub, which is near the canal, and is alleged to be where Brian Boru camped on his way to the Battle of Clontarf.
